CranPort™ is an import/export utility that allows you to create and execute packages that transfer data from an external source into a CranSoft® database, and vice versa. This tool is for moving data, similar to Microsoft’s Data Transformation Services (DTS), and SSIS. Unlike DTS and SSIS, CranPort packages can be created and executed on any version of Microsoft SQL Server. It supports the import and export of data to and from SQL Server, ODBC databases, fixed width and delimited text files, and Excel spreadsheets.
