Position Summary

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for administering all aspects of the Accounts Payable functions within Back Office. They will complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. This position requires strong organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, ability to work independently and within a team environment.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain all relevant documents
  • Process vendor invoices and expense reports
  • Process approved disbursements via checks and electronic payments
  • Enter invoices in accounting system for payments ensuring correct approval and coding
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain the general ledger
  • Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers
  • Print and distribute monthly financial reports
  • Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
  • Perform miscellaneous projects as they arise



  • Associates Degree or higher (preferred)
  • 3+ years’ experience with Accounts Payable
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Strong PC, organization, analysis and interpersonal skills
  • Proven audit skills in an accounting related role
  • Capability of working with numbers and currency translations 
  • Proven ability to multi-task and provide quality results on time
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with people at all levels
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high-energy/fast-paced environment and meet stringent deadlines
  • Self-directed individual who is a team player
