HR/Recruitment Generalist – Australia – Sydney

Position Summary

To be successful in this role, you will be someone who has HR/Recruitment experience and is passionate about building relationships with others both internally and externally. You will also be an exceptional communicator on all levels, possess excellent organisational skills and have a strong work ethic which will allow you to thrive working in this growing environment.

In this position, you will also take a front seat supporting core HR functions within the APJ region as a part of the regional and global HR team.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and policy management
  • Manage end to end employee life-cycle from hiring, onboarding to exit management
  • Manage the full recruitment process for candidates, working closely with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure the process runs as efficiently as possible
  • Focus on direct recruitment as well as partnering as needed to generate talent pipelines from internal and external sources
  • Construct job descriptions and advise on compensation for existing and new positions
  • Work closely with Deployment Management team to allocate suitable resources to projects
  • Collaborate with global HR team members working on initiatives focusing on our current workforce and future talent
  • Be a custodian of HR policies across the region

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of HR experience with 5+ in recruitment
  • Current experience in the Information Technology & Services Industry
  • Current experience recruiting for technical positions such as SAP consultants in the region
  • Strong experience in laws pertaining to recruitment in Australia, New Zealand and greater APAC is a plus
  • Proven experience working with local/regional and global stakeholders
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment in building relationships across all organizational levels and functions
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations across multiple time zones that require sound decision making and involve confidential or sensitive matters
