Learning and Development Specialist – India – Bangalore

Position Summary

The learning and development program at BackOffice Asia is focused on empowering the employee and enabling the management to actively drive employee development. The L&D specialist is responsible for defining deployment standards, processes and infrastructure to enable SAP software and services organisation to efficiently and manage employee development. Ultimately the specialist will help our organisation succeed by training and developing our people.
The role requires 0-20% travel across Asia Pacific

Location: Bangalore

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the single Point of Contact (POC) for all employee training, training coordination and reporting needs
  • Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through surveys, interviews with managers/employees, focus groups and/or consultation with management
  • Working with the Consulting team to develop and implement strategies and programs pertaining to the SAP environment
  • Development, maintenance and deployment of training material and programs ranging from technical to new hire training
  • Facilitation of instructor led workshops (internal/external) for all consulting employees across APJ-ME
  • Work closely with global stakeholders (across multiple time zones) in identifying company specific training programs for employee development
  • Creation of transparent career map for employees in sync with the leadership and HR Partners of the regions
  • Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness
  • Create employee onboarding programs in alignment with the HR and project requirements
  • Define and maintain guidelines around content development, training delivery, repository maintenance and training feedback
  • Maintain the L&D shared folder and have access to information at all times

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ experience in learning design, developing and delivering training, onboarding, leadership and professional development/engagement programs
  • Strong understanding of the IT Industry, industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Experience in working with senior leadership members – locally and globally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and team oriented
