Position Summary

BackOffice Associates in Europe is a fast growing, entrepreneurial organisation with partnerships with companies like SAP, Infor, Accenture and IBM. Our stated objective to be the de facto standard for the migration of data to S/4HANA is pivotal to our growth alongside a growing line of business with Infor.

Our migration and governance software platform, with a clear demonstrable and compelling return in investment, has been adopted by some of the largest organisations in the world across numerous industries and with such a market focus on data in the information age we only see further upside to our growth plans.

Based in our European HQ is based at Farnborough, Hampshire, we are looking for an intuitive, inquisitive and creative marketing executive with a flair for writing, knack for organisation, and interest in human psychology, to make a big contribution in a small marketing team promoting market-leading data software and services.

The ideal candidate first and foremost must understand people and take an interest in the psychology involved in marketing, be passionate and proactive, and have demonstrable excellent organisation skills to deal with digital and print campaign fulfilment and event organisation. Moreover, the individual must have an insatiable need to create and experiment with new ideas and concepts. You will be working on developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing digital and print marketing campaigns across all channels to raise brand awareness, position BackOffice as thought leaders/subject matter experts and build new business pipeline. You will be instrumental in sourcing/procuring/creating relevant content (business, industry and technically led) and monitoring digital messaging and trends across our markets.

The BOA Marketing Executive provides support to the Marketing team and to the region’s account teams. The role is integral to the successful punctual delivery of marketing activities. Through feedback and analysis of the performance of marketing activities you will contribute to the continual learning about successful promotional activity and efficient delivery. The insight you develop will help inform and guide future brand support activities and sales opportunities and help to develop healthy commercial relationships. You will work in a small team and there are significant opportunities for development in a wide and varied role.

This role is suitable as a second step in marketing and will be responsible for helping to deliver marketing activity across Europe and Africa. The successful candidate will report directly to the EUAF Marketing Manager.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Writing and executing region-wide email (through Marketo), social media, and pay per click campaigns
  • Project managing and supporting with the creation of marketing and sales support materials, such as sponsorship and exhibition proposals and event brochures as required
  • Supporting internal communications activities
  • Creating and executing engagement strategies with BackOffice’s channel partners
  • Manage individual projects as allocated by EUAF Marketing Manager



  • Degree in English, Marketing or Psychology would be an advantage
  • Minimum 1-2 years of B2B technology marketing experience either in-house or agency-side
  • Understanding of the SAP eco-system
  • Google AdWords experience
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Marketing automation experience
  • Understanding of how purchase decisions are made in B2B technology at a senior level
  • Event Experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Passion for human psychology
  • Strong written skills, friendly communicator and strong relationship builder
  • Intuitive, inquisitive and creative mindset
  • Verbal and written language capability in either French, Spanish and/or German an advantage
